Biographical Information[edit]
Nobuhiko Tomimatsu played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 6 years.
Tomimatsu signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1939, and he hit .200/.364/.300 in 85 games in his first season. He went 5-for-36 in 1940, and he jumped to the Kurowashi club in 1941. Tomimatsu had a .221/.308/.317 batting line that season, and he played 77 games with a .203/.309/.272 batting line before he went to the Taiyo club in the middle of the season. He had a 12-for-71 record in the rest of the '42 season, and he batted .166/.286/.217 in 1943. Tomimatsu joined the Pacific club after World War II, but he struggled again in 1946 as he had a .144/.316/.209 batting line, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Tomimatsu hit .186/.313/.261 with 251 hits and 7 homers in 6 seasons in NPB.
