Biographical Information[edit]
Noboru Fujishige signed with the Nankai Hawks in 1956, and he was 3-for-17 in his first season. He went 3-for-25 in 1957, and he was released. The Osaka Tigers signed him in 1960, and he hit .238/.273/.286 in 35 games. Fujishige played 61 games with a .241/.282/.362 batting line in 1961, and he recorded a .224/.224/.408 batting line in 1962 then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Fujishige hit .224/.261/.342 with 66 hits in 5 seasons in NPB.
