Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Noah Murdock was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 38th round of the 2016 amateur draft, but opted to continue on to college instead, attending the University of Virginia. He was then drafted in the 7th round of the 2019 amateur draft by the Kansas City Royals and was signed by scout Jim Farr. He advanced to AAA in 2024, but was left off of the Royals' 40-man roster and was drafted by The Athletics in the 2024 Rule V Draft.
He made his debut with the Athletics on March 29, 2025, pitching 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief in a 4-2 win over the Seattle Mariners.
