Biographical Information[edit]

Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo has been on the Vietnamese national team.

He led Hanoi Baseball in RBI, wins and hits in 2025. [1] He played in all of Vietnam's six games in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games, bouncing between catcher and first. He drew a walk from Kamolphan Kanjanavisut of Thailand his first time up. His first hit came off Laos's Yayua Wa. He finished the Games at .273/.429/.364 with two runs and one RBI, fielding .957 and allowing 13 steals in 13 tries. He tied Faldy Akhmad Zulfikar for 4th in steals allowed in the Games; his 44 putouts tied Vansana Chansana for first. He led Vietnam with 3 walks and led their regulars in OBP, .017 ahead of Tran Ngoc Tu. [2]
