Neu-Ulm, Bavaria

Neu-Ulm is located in northern Bavaria, on the south bank of the Danube River, across which is the city of Ulm, which is in the neighboring Land of Baden-Württemberg. From 1951 to 1991, a large base of the United States Army was located here. Edwin Jackson was born here during that period. Kilian Redle was also born here, but to a German family after the base's closure.
