Biographical Information[edit]

Nate Teut was in the majors with the Florida Marlins in 2002 and had a nine-year minor league career, winning 71 games. He was originally drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 1997 but got traded to the Marlins on December 11, 2001 in exchange for left-handed pitcher Jesús Sánchez.

His time at Iowa State University overlapped with that of Shawn Sedlacek, who also was in the majors in 2002.
