Biographical Information

Naoto Chino has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Chino played for the Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club from 2017 to 2018, and he was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 6th round of the 2018 NPB draft, the scout was Tatsuya Shindo. He hit .203/.287/.358 in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2019, and his batting line was .237/.310/.351 there in 2020. Chino improved to .279/.338/.419 in 2021, and he debuted on April 24. He got his first career hit on May 26 - a solo shot against Taisei Urushihara, but he hit .176/.263/.353 in his first season. He was 2-for-13 in 2022, and he went 5-for-30 in 2023. Chino had a 2-for-18 record in 24 games in 2024, and he only played 8 games in 2025.
