Biographical Information[edit]

Monte Brooks was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 24th round of the 1987 Amateur Draft. He played 4 years in the Padres system before calling it a career. Brooks went on to begin his coaching career at Meridian (ID) High School in Idaho. He would go on to coach for Santa Clara University and within the Padres system before becoming an assistant at The Master's University in 1995. Since becoming the head coach of Master's in 1997, he has taken the team to 4 NAIA College World Series (2000, 2013, 2016, & 2017).
