Biographical Information

Mitsuru Ogihara signed with the Yomiuri Giants in 1987, and he was 1-4 with a 6.29 ERA in 45 games for the then-minor league Miami Marlins in 1988. He tied Gus Meizoso for 8th in the Florida State League in appearances. He stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in the next three seasons, and he pitched 2 games in 1992 then he announced his retirement.
