Biographical Information[edit]
Minoru Yamane signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1939, and he went 0-for-8 in his first season. He hit .159/.281/.244 in 48 games in 1940, and he went 2-for-14 in 1941 then he left the team. Yamane played for Hiroshima Railway after World War II, and he signed with the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1950. However, Yamane was 1-for-14 and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Yamane hit .136/.244/.195 with 16 hits in 4 seasons in NPB.
