Biographical Information[edit]
Minoru Kayahara signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes in 1954, and he hit .178/.221/.260 in his first season. He jumped to the Mainichi Orions in 1955, and he played 47 games with a .235/.288/.294 batting line. The newly-founded Takahashi Unions then signed him, but Kayahara slumped to .190/.253/.369 in 1956 and he announced his retirement.
