Biographical Information[edit]
Michael Codiroli played for the USA national baseball team and in the minor leagues. His brother Chris Codiroli pitched in Major League.
Codiroli was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 9th round of the 1978 Amateur Draft, but he refused to sign. He represented the USA in the 1978 Amateur World Series. The Seattle Mariners picked him in the 12th round of the 1979 Amateur Draft, and he hit .304/.440/.368 with 14 steals in 51 games for the Bellingham Mariners in 1979. He stole 33 bags with a .287/.401/.343 batting line for the San Jose Missions in 1980, and he improved to .365/.511/.467 with 23 steals there in 1981. Codiroli's batting line fell to .245/.347/.353 in 1982 for the Bakersfield Mariners, and his professional career ended.
