Biographical Information

Michio Mizutani signed with the Chunichi Dragons in 1965, and he had a 1.15 ERA in 6 games in his first season. His ERA was 3.00 in 7 games in 1966, and he pitched 10 games with a 6.43 ERA in 1968. Mizutani stayed in the minors in 1968, and he was released. The Lotte Orions signed him, and he pitched 12 games with a 4.70 ERA in 1970 then he retired.

Overall, Mizutani went 1-1 with a 3.90 ERA, struck out 37 and pitched 67 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
