Michael Rauscher played for the German national team in the 1986 B-Level European Championship, going 1 for 4 with two walks, two steals and a run for the champs. Germany moved on to the 1987 European Championship, he went 1 for 9. He was 0 for 4 with two walks and two runs in the 1992 B-Level European Championship. Bundesliga-1 stats prior to 1994 are unavailable online (as of 6/15/2026). He hit .320/.485/.547 for the 1994 Mannheim Amigos, finishing 4th in the Bundesliga-1 south in walks (22) and was 3rd with 21 steals (one behind the co-leaders). In 1995, he batted .297/.356/.463 for Mannheim, then .271/.403/.441 the next year. Moving to the Ladenburg Romans, he was 3-for-3 with a walk, hit-by-pitch, two doubles, two runs and a RBI in 1997. In 1998, he ended his career by batting .271/.388/.523 for the Romans.
