Matijaz Brinovec

Matijaz Brinovec was the starting center fielder for the Slovenian national team in the 1999 European Championship; it is unclear if he was related to fellow outfielder Miran Brinovec. He hit .214/.421/.214, tying Elvir Sadikovic for the team lead with three runs. He had 17 putouts, one assist and no errors in the field. He led the event's center fielders in fielding; Peter Stroobants was next with 15 error-free chances.
