Biographical Information

Masayuki Nakayama was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the 4th round of the 1993 NPB draft, and he had a 6.93 ERA in 15 games in 1994. He never returned to the big club again, and he was released in 1996. Nakayama then went 1-2 with a 5.51 ERA for the Saskatoon Smokin' Guns in 1997, and he also had a 1-2 record with a 7.80 ERA for the Grays Harbor Gulls. He announced his retirement after the 1997 season.
