Biographical Information

Masaya Emura was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 4th round of the 2012 NPB draft, and he had a 5.40 ERA in 31 appearances in his first season. He pitched 19 games with a 5.74 ERA in 2014, and he missed the entire 2015 season due to elbow injury then he announced his retirement. His brother Naoya Emura also played in NPB.
