Biographical Information

Masatoshi Ogawa was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 3rd round of the 2003 NPB draft, and he only got 20 at-bats for the big club before he announced his retirement in 2009 (hitting .250 and handling 39 chances error-free behind the dish). He was the battery coach for the Dragons in 2016 and for their minors team from 2017 to 2019, and he became an assistant coach for Rissho University in 2022.
