Biographical Information

Masaru Fukuhara signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes in 1959, and he was 0-2 with a 5.91 ERA in his first season. He went 1-1 with a 5.20 ERA in 1961, and he pitched 19 games with a 3.48 ERA in 1962. Fukuhara only got 5 appearances in 1963, and his ERA was 5.48 in 14 appearances in 1964. He had a 1-0 record with a 5.47 ERA in 1965, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Fukuhara went 2-4 with a 4.98 ERA, struck out 80 and pitched 153 2/3 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
