Biographical Information[edit]
Masahiko Harada was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 4th round of the 1994 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first two seasons. He went 6-for-20 in 1997, and he had a 8-for-32 record in 1998. Harada only played 3 games combined in the next two seasons despite leading the Western League (Japan) with a .343 average in 2000, and the Dragons traded him to the Nippon Ham Fighters for cash. He hit .265/.315/.386 in 29 games in 2001, but he only played 3 games in 2002 and he announced his retirement.
