Biographical Information

Outfielder/pinch-hitter Masaaki Suzaki signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes in 1963, and he was 5-for-27 in his first season. He stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in 1964, and he was released. Suzaki then signed with the Sankei Swallows, and he played 100 games (101 PA) with a .255/.278/.340 batting line in 1965. He hit .243/.263/.279 in 120 plate appearances over 74 games in 1966, and he announced his retirement.
