Biographical Information[edit]
Martin Veliz was on the Mexican national team in the 1993 Intercontinental Cup. He backed up Salvador Vasquez at 1B and Manuel Velez at 2B, going 3-for-13 with a run, double and two RBI. He handled 15 chances error-free. [1] He turned pro that summer, going 1 for 9 with a run for the Charros de Jalisco. In 1994, he went 3 for 28 with a double, two walks, a run and a RBI to end his career. [2]
