Biographical Information

Mao Itoh has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Itoh was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 4th round of the 2022 NPB draft; the scout was Daisuke Masuda. He pitched 25 games in his first season, and he notched 3 holds with a 3.27 ERA. Itoh only pitched 6 games with a 7.94 ERA in 2024, and the Chunichi Dragons picked him in the 2024 NPB Active draft.
