Biographical Information[edit]
Luis Cervantes spent 2019 with the Grand Junction Rockies as a physical performance coach. He was slated to return in 2020 but the coronavirus pandemic caused the minor leagues season to be cancelled. In 2021, Cervantes was a physical performance coach for the ACL Rockies. Cervantes joined the Los Angeles Angels organization in October 2021. He has been strength and conditiong coach of the Salt Lake Bees, Tri-City Dust Devils, Scottsdale Scorpions, and the AZL Angels.
Cervantes also spent the last half of 2020 as assistant strength and conditioning coach of Regis University working with the men's soccer and baseball teams and 2015-2018 as assistant strength and conditioning coach of United States Air Force Academy working with olympic sports teams.
