Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Lou Iannotti played briefly in the independent leagues in 2017, getting into 10 games with the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League and batting .143. Before that, he had been at Siena College for one season and at Quinnipiac University for three. He was later inducted in Quinnipiac's Hall of Fame.
After his playing career, he went into coaching, working as a coach in the Los Angeles Dodgers system. In 2023, he was the hitting coach for the Tulsa Drillers of the AA Texas League, then became the Dodgers' minor league hitting coordinator in 2024. In 2025, he was hired by the Toronto Blue Jays to serve as one of two assistant hitting coaches alongside Hunter Mense under hitting coach David Popkins.
