Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Lee Tabor played in the Cincinnati Reds system from 2006 to 2011, with a spell in independent ball in 2011, as well. He spent parts of two seasons at Triple-A, where he had a 3.55 ERA, but he never ascended to the majors.

He was taken by the Reds in the 30th round of the 2006 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of pitcher Clay Zavada. One season of note was his second, 2007, when he went 5-2 with a 3.12 ERA in 43 games; in 78 innings, he had 82 strikeouts. He reached Triple-A for the first time in 2009, posting a 2-0 mark with a 3.10 ERA in 9 games for the Louisville Bats. He returned to Louisville for an eight-game stint in 2010.

Overall, Tabor went 17-17 with a 4.60 ERA in 202 games (17 starts). In 359 2/3 innings, he allowed 382 hits and 143 walks (1.460 WHIP), while striking out 284 batters.
