Lake Bluff, IL

Lake Bluff is located in the northeast corner of Illinois, on the shore of Lake Michigan. It is 5 miles south of Waukegan, IL, immediately north of Lake Forest, IL and 30 miles north of downtown Chicago, IL. Jacob Doyle and Ryne Sandberg died here and the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, where Doyle served in World War I, is also located here.
