Biographical Information[edit]
Kozo Aoki signed with the Tokyo Senators in 1936, and he hit .326/.429/.435 in 14 games in the spring season. He was 7-for-30 in the fall season, and he went 4-for-31 in the 1937 spring season. Aoki played 30 games with a .157/.253/.214 batting line in the fall season, and he struggled again as he was 6-for-60 in the 1938 spring season. He hit .155/.240/.259 with 3 triples in the fall season, and he had a 11-for-41 record in 1939 then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Aoki hit .183/.269/.279 with 72 hits in 7 seasons in NPB.
