Konosuke Tatsumi has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Tatsumi was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the first round of the development phase in the 2022 NPB draft, the scout was Katsuya Okubo.[1] He hit .251/.304/.276 in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and he slumped to .147/.210/.165 in 2024. Tatsumi made his NPB debut on March 31, but he was hitless in 3 at-bats that season. Tatsumi then hit .280/.319/.309 with 31 steals in 2025, and he led the Eastern League in steals. However, he didn't get a chance for the top team, and the Hiroshima Carp picked him in the 2025 NPB Active draft.
