Biographical Information[edit]
Konosuke Muroyama played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 5 years.
Muroyama signed with the Hanshin Tigers in 1962, and he hit .175/.259/.289 in 52 games in his first season. He recorded a .209/.275/.294 batting line in 83 games in 1963, but he then torn his Achilles' tendon. Muroyama only got 3 at-bats in 1964, and he was 7-for-27 in 1965. He went 3-for-23 in 1966, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Muroyama hit .195/.276/.284 with 59 hits in 5 seasons in NPB.
