Biographical Information

Koichi Nagai was an umpire fro the Shikoku Island League plus from 2007 to 2008, and he became an umpire of the Pacific League in 2009. He was one of first two NPB umpires who had worked in the independent leagues, along with Hidetomo Ashihara. He worked the 2021 NPB All-Star Games and 2023 NPB All-Star Games.
