Biographical Information

Hidetomo Ashihara was an umpire for the Shikoku Island League plus in 2008, and he became an umpire of the Pacific League in 2009. He was one of the first two NPB umpires who had worked in the independent leagues, along with Koichi Nagai. He worked the 2018 NPB All-Star Games, 2022 NPB All-Star Games and 2025 Nippon Series.
