Biographical Information

Koh Nakagawa has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Nakagawa was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the first round of the development phase in the 2017 NPB draft; the scout was Tateki Abe. He was 5-5 with a 5.00 ERA in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2018, and he improved to 11-3 with a 2.23 ERA in 2019. He led the Eastern League in wins, was second with 93 strikeouts (14 behind Shoma Fujihira and led in ERA (.62 ahead of Makoto Aiuchi), coming close to a pitching Triple Crown. Nakagawa also pitched 3 games with a 5.40 ERA in '19 for the top team, and he had a 7.11 ERA in 3 appearances in 2020.

He went 0-1 with a 6.49 ERA in 2021, and his ERA was 4.35 in 8 relief outings in 2022. Nagakawa then had a 2.53 ERA in 9 games in 2023, and he notched 10 holds with a 3.19 ERA in 31 appearances in 2024. He extended his solid performance in 2025, and his ERA was 3.16 in 30 games with 3 holds.
