Biographical Information[edit]
Kiyoshi Takasu was a star player in the Tokyo Big6 Baseball League, and he broke the league record as he collected 65 RBI in his career (he still ranked 10th as of 2025). He signed with the Eagles club in 1939, but he hit .191/.340/.257 in 49 games. Takasu then left the team due to military service, and he returned with the Pacific club in 1946. He hit .145/.266/.164 that season, and he announced his retirement.
