Biographical Information[edit]

Kevin Olore pitched in the Seattle Mariners system from 1999 to 2003 and in 2005. He peaked at Double-A.

He was taken by Seattle in the 20th round of the 1999 amateur draft and though he had success in the low minors, he struggled upon reaching Double-A. After posting a 9.4 K/9 IP ratio his second year, he went 13-4 with a 3.32 ERA in 27 starts for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in 2001, striking out 158 in 154 2/3 innings. In 2002, he was 10-3 with a 2.73 mark in 25 games (18 starts) for the San Bernardino Stampede, striking out 128 in 105 1/3 frames. After a weak 2003, he missed all of 2004, just to return and struggle in 2005.

Overall, he went 26-18 with a 3.91 ERA in 142 games (62 starts). In 458 innings, he allowed 436 hits and 188 walks (1.362 WHIP), while striking out 488 batters (9.6 K/9). He was 0-2, 5.93 in 44 Double-A innings.
