Biographical Information

Kento Nakamura has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Nakamura was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 3rd round of the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Tomofumi Matsumoto. He had a .240/.285/.339 batting line in 63 games for the big club in 2022, but he struggled in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023. Nakamura hit .205/.289/.317 there, and he didn't reach the big club. He improved to .278/.347/.343 in 2024, but he only got 2 hits in 24 at-bats for the top team. Nakamura then crushed 5 homers with a .283/.368/.398 batting line in the minors in 2025, but he was hitless in 6 at-bats with the big club. The Carp released him after the 2025 season.
