Biographical Information

Belgian-Japanese KentoMarc Ishida was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 2nd round of the development phase in the 2017 NPB draft, and he only pitched 6 innings for the big club before he announced his retirement in 2022. He had gone 4-9 with 21 saves and a 2.96 ERA in 131 games on the farm. His 13 saves in 2022 tied Akira Niho for the Western League lead.
