Biographical Information[edit]
Kenjiro Tabata was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp and Kintetsu Buffaloes in the first round of the 1965 NPB draft; the Buffaloes won the lottery for the rights to him. He only pitched one game in 1966, and he had a 6.24 ERA in 19 appearances in 1967. His ERA was 2.00 in 6 games in 1968, but he didn't have another appearance with the big club before he announced his retirement in 1971.
