Biographical Information

Kenji Harada was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 3rd round of the 1997 NPB draft, and he allowed 5 runs in 2 innings in 1998. He had a solid 1.83 ERA in 24 relief outings in 1999, and he pitched 58 games with a 4.45 ERA in 2000. Harada tied Shinji Mori for 6th in appearances in the Central League. However, he missed the entire 2001 season due to injuries, and the Fighters released him. The Hanshin Tigers picked him up, and Harada pitched 8 games in 2002 then he announced his retirement.
