Biographical Information[edit]
Kenichi Kimino signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes in 1953, and he only played two games in his first season. He hit .176/.236/.216 in 20 games in 1954, and he had a .186/.205/.186 batting line in 1955. Kimino also became the first RBI leader of the Western League, in the 1955 season. He played a career-high 85 games and batted .235/.272/.282 in 1956, and he hit .203/.267/.254 in 79 games in 1957. Kimino only got 2 at-bats in 1958, and he announced his retirement.
