Biographical Information

Keito Matsuura had pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball. His cousin Yuto Furuya also pitched in NPB.

Matsuura was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 7th round of the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Takaya Hayashi. He only pitched one game in his first two seasons for the big club, and he had a 2.25 ERA in 5 relief outings in 2024.
