Biographical Information

Keiji Okamoto was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 2nd round of the 1989 NPB draft, and he spent his first three seasons in the NPB Farm Leagues. He hit .205/.272/.282 in 98 games in 1993 (primarily backing up Yutaka Wada at 2B), and he recorded a .181/.289/.222 batting line in 1994 then he announced his retirement.
