Biographical Information

Kazuomi Nakamura played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 4 years.

Nakamura signed with the Hanshin Tigers in 1954, and he spent his first three seasons in the NPB Farm Leagues. He was 3-1 with a 2.41 ERA in 1957, and he went 7-3 with a 2.08 ERA in 1958. Nakamura had a 2.91 ERA in 26 appearances in 1959, and he pitched 13 games with a 1.96 ERA in 1960. However, he failed to return to the top team in 1961, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Nakamura was 13-8 with a 2.36 ERA, struck out 164 and pitched 236 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
