Biographical Information[edit]
Kazuo Hamada was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 2nd round of the 1981 NPB draft, but he only pitched 8 games before the Dragons released him in 1987. He then signed with the Taepyungyang Dolphins of the Korea Baseball Organization, and he was 2-4 with a 4.38 ERA in 1988. Hamada announced his retirement after the 1988 season.
