Biographical Information

Junichiro Kishi has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Kishi represented Japan in the 2014 BFA U-18 Baseball Championship, and he played for the Tokushima Indigo Socks from 2018 to 2019. The Seibu Lions selected him in the 8th round of the 2019 NPB draft, and he hit .253/.354/.407 with 4 homers in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2020; he was 0-for-2 with the big club. Kishi secured a starting outfielder spot in 2021 after a knee injury ended Gakuto Wakabayashi's season, and he hit .220/.263/.345 with 9 homers in 100 games. He slumped to .205/.284/.356 in 2022, and he recorded a .209/.269/.288 batting line in 2023. Kishi crushed 6 homers with a 216/.260/.324 batting line in 98 games in 2024.
