Biographical Information[edit]

Jun Aoki signed with the Tombo Unions in 1955, and he was 5-for-45 in 33 games in his first season. He hit .164/.260/.237 in 86 games in 1956 as the backup catcher behind Keizo Tsutsui, and he joined the Kintetsu Buffaloes after the Unions dissolved. Aoki recorded a .148/.281/.204 batting line in 48 games in 1957, and he only got 5 more at-bats before announced his retirement in 1959.
