Biographical Information[edit]

Joshua Corrales pitched in the minor leagues and Nippon Pro Baseball.

Corrales was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 44th round of the 2011 Amateur Draft, and he pitched 13 shutout innings for the AZL Mariners in his first season. He also had a 0.96 ERA in 7 games for the Pulaski Mariners. Corrales then went 4-4 with a 4.09 ERA for the Clinton LumberKings in 2012, and he left the team later. He pitched for Hitachi Yokohama in the Japanese industrial league for 2 years, and he joined the Toyama GRN Thunderbirds from 2016 to 2017. The Rakuten Golden Eagles signed him in June, 2017, and he was 3-0 with a 6.75 ERA in the NPB Farm Leagues. He also pitched one game with 5 runs allowed for the top team. Corrales was 0-4 with a 2.66 ERA in the minors in 2018, and he was released. He then signed with the Tigres de Quintana Roo, and he had a 4-3 record with a 3.68 ERA. He had a 3.58 ERA in 28 appearances in the winter for the Charros de Jalisco, and he pitched 1 1/3 shutout innings for the Aguilas de Mexicali in the next winter. Corrales's ERA was 3.86 in 19 games for the Toros de Tijuana in 2021, and he went 3-3 with a 6.08 ERA with the Algodoneros de Union Laguna in 2022. He slumped to 3-4 with a 5.20 ERA in 2023, and he announced his retirement.
