Biographical Information[edit]
José Rosado pitched in the majors for the Kansas City Royals from 1996 to 2000. He made the All-Star team twice during that short period before injuries brought his playing career to a premature end.
He was scheduled to be pitching coach for the Tampa Tarpons in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19. In 2024, he was named bullpen coach of the New York Mets, his first major league coaching assignment.
