Biographical Information

Joji Tago was drafted by the Lotte Orions in the 2nd round of the 1981 NPB draft, and he only pitched one game combined for the top team in his first four seasons. He was 2-2 with a 5.21 ERA in 1986, and he didn't return to the bog club before he announced his retirement in 1990. He later became a batting practice pitcher for the Yomiuri Giants from 1991 to 2009, and he was famous as Kazuhiro Kiyohara's regular partner.
