Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Johnny Freeland played three seasons of minor league baseball, with an interruption while serving in the Army during World War II.
After his playing days, Freeland got his bachelor's degree from Florida Southern and master's degree from Florida Atlantic. He was a longtime high school teacher and baseball coach in Florida.
